Located on the beach at Pevensey Bay, this holiday home is the perfect choice for guests with children who wish to stay on the beach from dawn to dusk. Despite its peaceful coastal location, the house is within easy reach of the local amenities at Pevensey, which include popular pubs offering locally sourced produce. Located directly between Hastings and Eastbourne, a wider range of eating and shopping facilities is only a short drive away.

A spacious entrance with Edwardian tiles welcomes you into this house and guides you through to the front lounge. With whitewashed flooring, a rustic coffee table and wood burner, this is a stylish and cosy room for cooler evenings. Folding doors open into the second lounge area, which can be left open when entertaining to form a large space. Here you will find comfortable sofas, stylish lamps and a games cupboard. The kitchen beyond has been designed by keen cooks and presents a stunning bright white space in which to entertain. An island with bar stools sits below stylish pendant lights while a clever combination of exposed and closed storage adds to the charm. Here you will find a gas hob, double electric oven, microwave oven, and dishwasher. Enjoy your meals in the spacious dining area beyond, which boasts whitewashed tongue-and-groove walls, a polished concrete floor, large wooden table, cafe-style lights and folding doors to the courtyard. There is a separate utility room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink, plus a washroom with reclaimed wood walls and tiles. On the first floor, the first bedroom has a double bed and is located at the front of the house with a large bay window to make the most of the sea views and flood the room with light. Beautifully decorated with reclaimed wood throughout, this room features an Ercol style armchair and alcove shelves. Also on this floor is the second bedroom with a king-size bed and third room with bunk beds that is stocked with children’s books. Along with a family bathroom and a shower room, with a large walk-in shower cubicle, there is also a cosy nook area with a sofa and selection of books that you can read at the table and chairs on the balcony beyond. On the second floor up in the eaves, you will find a further bedroom with twin beds, and the fifth bedroom with a double bed, both with stunning sea views.

This spectacular property has a private garden at the front of the house, decorated with native wildflowers and boasting direct access onto the shingle beach. Alfresco meals can be enjoyed in the suntrap located off the dining room where there is a decked area with table and chairs.

An amazing property in a fantastic location. The kitchen was well equipped, the best weve ever seen self catering. The beach garden was great, and again well equipped for everything you need on the beach. Lovely quiet location where you could hear the waves while in bed. We were lucky with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A really lovely, spacious and well-equipped house and a great base from which to explore the lovely surrounding areas. We were four generations and an elderly dog and there was plenty of room for us. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need and the bonus of the utility room, when travelling with small children, was great. A fantastic, spacious, well equipped house with many little extras. The games cupboard was thoughtful, as was the outside warm shower. The beds were comfy and the towels luxurious.
