This pretty Georgian cottage makes the perfect place for a seaside break. Eastbourne Beach is just a half a mile from the property, as is the Redoubt Fortress, previously an important defence against invasion, but now a wonderful family attraction. A fantastic water sports centre at this end of the beach offers visitors the chance to try their hand at paddleboarding, kayaking, powerboating, and even raft building. The town centre has a wide range of shops, an interesting lifeboat museum, and the wonderfully restored Victorian pier which offers a range of food outlets and evening entertainment venues. Nearby Princes Park is a fun place to spend an afternoon with its boating lake, formal gardens, play areas, a splash pad, and tennis courts. Keen walkers can enjoy exploring the nearby South Downs and for those looking to venture further afield, the towns of Brighton, Bexhill and Hastings are all within 20 miles.
On arrival at this stylish cottage, guests are welcomed into a small hallway with space for dropping off coats and shoes, before heading through into the wonderfully light and airy lounge with patio doors out to the garden. It also has two comfy sofas, perfect for snuggling up on in front of the wood burner and catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Across the hallway is the kitchen/diner, where guests will find a cosy dining area, with seating for four. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you may need to create delicious family meals. On the first floor, the property has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with a sea view, whilst the second bedroom is a delightful double. The property is completed by a bathroom, also on the first floor, which offers a shower-over-bath set up.
Outside, there is a fully enclosed patio garden to the side of the property, with a hot tub, charcoal BBQ and patio table and chairs. Relax after a busy day with a glass of fizz and enjoy stargazing on a clear evening.
