Perfect for families of all ages, this delightful cottage sits in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Beauty. Located on the owners' farm, within walking distance of the pub at Bodle Street Green (150 metres), it’s the most wonderfully quiet location with a pond right outside your front door home to many resident ducks. The property is ideally placed for entertaining the children at the Herstmonceux Science Centre (3.5 miles) or Drusillas Park (12 miles) and not far from Bedgebury Pinetum (15 miles) with its Go Ape tree top walk. The area is known as 1066 Country, and the historic town of Battle (9 miles) is home to an abbey and the battlefield where the infamous Battle of Hastings took place. For a day out at the seaside, visit the Victorian seaside town of Hastings (14 miles) with its RIBA architectural awarding-winning pier and historic 'old town' where a working fishing fleet still lands their catch today. Neighbouring St Leonards has become a trendy hotspot with many independent shops, restaurants and bars to explore.
